There is so much violence in our communities, National has completely failed to target crime as they said they would.

Violence statistics are still on the rise, 2 years ago National introduced its get tough on crime policies and they have failed to make a dent of any sort in the violence statistics.

Why are we continuing to listen to these guys? its become glaringly obvious that National has no idea how to sucessfully target crime.

Last years crime statistics showed increases in murders and violent offences.. the only thing that went down I believe were minor things like robberies.

I think its time to throw out the political refuse and try something that might actually work.

About the only thing that NACT were able to come up with was throwing criminals in cells and then chucking away the key... we can see though that that policy was a complete failure as a deterent to future crime.

Criminals obviously dont care which makes the policy pointless.
