The Wynyard Quarter officially opened a fortnight ago, just in time for the Rugby World Cup.
It is a wonderful reinvention of an area previously used for bulk petrol storage, among other things, and lost to the city and its people as a result.
As Aucklanders visit the area in huge numbers and tourists arrive for the RWC, you can tour it by taking a heritage tram idea.
Great idea.
