Would you pay $40k for a bathroom-sized room?

We've all heard a lot about the cost of real estate in Auckland.
But how about paying $40,000 for an apartment that's about the size of the average bathroom?
It is too small for a double bed and you can walk across it in two steps.
Real estate agent Martin Dunn gave Tristram Clayton a guided tour of the downtown Auckland apartment they've nicknamed "Tiny Tim".

40k may be pricey, yet it also probably has location for it.How much will it cost to live there? Well the interest on borrowing $40k works out around $50 per week, but nobody can afford such huge prices in Auckland!For a single person living alone, not a bad option for $50 per week.
