Ryan Reynolds and Liev Schreiber's X-Men characters are set for Hugh Jackman's Wolverine treatment - the movie's director wants to chronicle their superhero backgrounds.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine, the fourth film in the franchise, delves deeper into the history of Jackman's clawed mutant.
And director Gavin Hood is keen to make similar movies starring Reynold's alter-ego Deadpool and Schreiber's Sabretooth.
He says, "There's the wonderful Liev who plays Victor. Ryan Reynolds too is extremely charismatic; both witty and he can combine action and humour.
"The creators of these characters have all created characters that could all have their own origin stories. Hopefully fans will enjoy Wolverine and more will be made."
