Freida Pinto open to doing movies with Dev Patel

Freida Pinto is open to shooting another movie with her real-life boyfriend Dev Patel - but only if they play onscreen enemies.

The pair shot to fame in Danny Boyle's multi-Oscar winning 2008 movie Slumdog Millionaire, and it later emerged they'd fallen in love on set and were a couple.

In 2010, Patel insisted their real-life romance would make it impossible for them to shoot another film together as it would be "too awkward" to act opposite each other - but now Pinto has revealed she'd willingly work with her beau if they were given roles as arch rivals.

She tells The New Review, "I don't think Dev and I are looking to do another film together. The only reason is there are such high expectations attached to the chemistry that we built in Slumdog Millionaire and it's hard to live up to that, so we don't want to run that risk.

"If we did do anything, the film would have to do the opposite of what we did in Slumdog. We'd have to be enemies!"
