Star Trek star determined to keep ass looking good

Zoë Saldana is doing everything she can to keep her “ass” looking good as she gets older.

The actress turns 32 later this month, and has mixed feelings about ageing. She loves the way her face has matured over the years, but admits she will do anything it takes – except undergo surgery – to keep her toned bottom from becoming saggy.

"I'm very accepting of my age,” Zoë said. “I like it. The thirties are great. It's like notches on your belt: experience, wisdom, and a different kind of beauty. I have become comfortable in my skin.

“But with changes that are supposed to happen from now on I am going to try to do everything I can to keep this ass together for as long as I possibly can - without going against nature."

To help keep her body looking good, Zoë has signed up to star in a series of action films because the training involved is so intense. She just finished working on comic book film The Losers, which involved six months of gruelling workouts so she was fit enough to perform her own stunts.

"It is exhausting,” she told Irish film website movies.ie. “Sometimes you kind of ask yourself, I wonder if this is going to have any permanent damage on my elbow or my ankle and things like that.

“The reality is that it's fun, it looks great, and it's the least that I can do. I enjoy it a lot, I really do.”
