Possible human remains found in Auckland park
Human bones have been found in a drain by a man mowing the lawns at an Auckland reserve.
The contractor saw the bones in a drain running alongside the Totaravale Reserve on the North Shore at midday today.
A pathologist has confirmed the bones are human, but it's unknown how long the bones have been there, and whether the person was a man or a woman.
Police say the bones will be removed and examined by a pathologist tomorrow.
They are conducting a full scene examination.
