English cricket fans bring some colour to test cricket

Saturday 4 Dec 2010 2:45 p.m.

By James Bennett

English cricket fans are some of the best sport supporters in the world.

Every test match, the ‘Barmy Army’ tune their trumpets, loosen the vocal chords and go about chanting and singing in support of their national team.

It may be 30 degrees plus at the Adelaide Oval but this supporters crew will brave the hot weather and wear some of the more ridiculous outfits seen at a test ground.

They may not be welcome to sit with the members at Lords, but the ‘Army’ definitely have their place in test cricket.

Check out the video for all the weird and wonderful outfits
