Turning socks into toys for children in hospital
Elijah Amoah has been fighting leukaemia for five years. He knows just how monotonous days in hospital can be when you're a child battling a serious illness.
But Elijah is now in remission and his mother has started a movement to help make the other sick kids a little bit happier.
She's started up 'The Great Sock Monkey Challenge', and is encouraging Kiwis to make a unique soft toy monkey out of a pair of socks to send to children in hospital.
