Who should lead Labour?

Monday 19 Nov 2012 5:08 p.m.

The result of tomorrow's Labour caucus vote is not in doubt, current leader David Shearer will be retained.

The vote is a carefully managed public relations exercise and show of strength.

Mr Shearer has called the vote to ensure he has a mandate to re-shuffle his front benches and demote the dissenting voices, such as leadership rival David Cunliffe.
